A friend of mine over at Lakeway Resort & Spa just clued me in to a really cool promo launching tomorrow (8/3). Based on the way the promo works, I think there is a really good chance that a Saving with Shellie reader could win it.
Here’s how it works:
1. Become a fan of Dolce Hotels and Resorts HEREand Lakeway Resort and Spa HERE.
2. Create and submit a description of an original, fun and exciting vacation package. The submission period is Monday (8/3) through Thursday (8/6)
3. Dolce Hotels will choose 10 finalists based on creativity, originality, marketability, and fun factor.
4. Beginning Monday (8/10) the 10 finalists will be revealed and voting begins. Anyone who is a fan can vote. This is where we can help a Saving with Shellie reader get the most votes.
I’m not sure how long voting will last but whichever finalist has the most votes, gets the dream vacation! But you have to be able to provide your own travel to Austin, Texas.
When you are dreaming up your vacation, keep in mind, your entry must describe a vacation package that is capable of being fulfilled at the Resort. Example: They don’t have an airport so you can’t include airfare. You must use the amenities they have. You have to include the number of consecutive room nights (not to exceed 5) and your proposed dates (not holidays). The total value can’t exceed $4,000 based on publicly available and published rates and you can’t include any personally identifiable information.
Remember you need to get creative and make it fun. You’ve got 4 days to figure it out. I’m certain that at least one of you has what it takes to be a finalist!

So start dreaming now and go HERE beginning Monday but before Thursday and click on the Promotions tab. That’s where you’ll enter and can find the full terms and conditions. Also, feel free to blog about it and ask your friends and readers for ideas to help get your creative juices flowing.
