The coupon in your Cheezit scenario is for a bigger box plus good on the whole grain version. Those aren’t listed as on sale in the Walgreens ad. Is your Walgreens taking it? Mine will not. Just curious as I see this scenario listed on several blogs. Thanks!
It wasn’t possible for me. But the small boxes of cheese crackers were priced well enough. My run to Walgreen’s today took me 2 hours of prep (I was rather slow today) and 1 hours to do. I brought home $78 worth of goodies. I paid $35 and have $19 to use next week or soon. I could have serialized some of the purchased but didn’t want to take longer this week. So I’m net $16 for this week. I got 9$ worth of things I wanted that were on sales but not deals (4 small cheese crackers, eggs, muffins, and crab meat). I got my free stuff (jello, shampoo, and toothbrushes). And then I got a collection of stuff with deals and coupons matchups for the remaining $7: 4 mayo, 2 ragu, 1 tea, 1 peanut butter, 2 cereals. I really wanted the mayo and buying more ragu simply saved more money than they cost incrementally.
I considered trying to make the 10$ Kellog’s rebate work but it just wasn’t in the cards. Maybe another time. If anyone knows how to make the Kellog’s deal $10 rebate on 10 purchases at one time work (without having a printing press at home) let me know.
