I tried the floss deal a few months back and it didn’t work because the coupon $1 was for more than the item $.99. Hasn’t anyone else encountered this?
It worked for me today!!! Just remember to use the man. coupon first and the Wag’s coupon at the very end!!
Stephanie, I live in north Mississippi, and I’ve had the same problem. I had a $1 Nabisco coupon, and the crackers/cookies were on sale for $.99. The cashier told me that if the cash register won’t take the coupon as is, she is not supposed to adjust it down. I questioned her about it, and she re-stated that if a coupon is for more than the item price, they can’t take the coupon. Every Walgreens will give you a different interpretation of their coupon policy, and every clerk in that Walgreens will tell you something different, as well. Sometimes you can find a particular clerk at a particular Walgreens that will work with you. Hopefully, Maria is right about it working if you give them the mfg. coupon first. I am going to try it tomorrow!
Thanks, I’ll try man. coupons first. Also, the Nivea coupon is $1 off any Nivea product, not BOGO, so same situation with that. Hopefully it will work.
I tried the dental floss coupon and nabisco today..NO go! Cashier tried both ways..manager also…..and either way it didnt work on the floss or nabisco…bummer! Good luck!!!!
Regarding: cashier told me that if the cash register won’t take the coupon as is, she is not supposed to adjust it down. I questioned her about it, and she re-stated that if a coupon is for more than the item price, they can’t take the coupon
The other day the cashier marked down one of my coupons to match the sale price of the item and at another walgreens I was told you cant use coupons on b 1 get 1 free items. They really need to get their polices in order and standardized.
Why is it when I click on the linked words like “revlon” to get the coupon, it takes me to a hotactionzone website with no coupon? Am I doing something wrong?
Hailey,
Any link you see in green with a double underline is an ad. If you hover over the link the ad preview will show. The “real” links will always be in blue (or purple) if you’ve already clicked them. I apologize if the green links are confusing but having them helps me keep my site up and running,
Also, the Revlon coupon isn’t a printable one. It’s only available in the coupon insert. Hope that helps!
I can’t seem to find the revlon coupons stated on here… I have the Smart Source insert from 2/21 (2 copies)… help please?
Ashley –
The coupon was definitely regional – I have a SS from Austin that has it and one from Las Vegas that doesn’t.
I did it–got the floss for free! Thanks for the tip about giving man. coupons first. I got the Frap, 2 Right Guards (w/ coupon $/2, 2 at http://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=XYLTWJS6DUKV4) for $1.36 and the Tylenol.
