You probably saw me list the Accu-Chek diabetes monitoring kit in my CVS Deals for this week. Well, I made my CVS run tonight and grabbed the monitor. While hubby was driving us home, I looked at the box at saw two little magic words: MAIL-IN REBATE!

So I opened up the box and low and behold inside is a card. Fill out your information, attach a copy of your recepit, send it in and they will reimburse you the cost of your kit ($9.99)! And wait, it gets a tiny bit better, the card is actually a postage paid envelope! You don’t even need a stamp.

So here is my revised Accu-Chek Deal at CVS
Accu-Chek Compact Plus - $9.99
-Get $9.99 ECBs (Limit 1)
-Submit for $9.99 Mail-in Rebate
Final Price = FREE + $9.99 overage!

Note: I could have just grabbed a magic box. I saw the mail-in rebate listed on the right side of the box. It is the last bullet point under “What’s Inside”

Also, I have been able donate these monitors to a free clinic or shelter as long as the plastic case the actual monitor is in has not been broken.

I think Beauty samples are my favorite. I stick them in a bag and when I travel I get to use all kinds of different products. It makes traveling more fun because I can’t wait to try some of my goodies.

Is Daylight Savings Time hard for you? I know I hate springing forward. I’m usually late to work for a week after the change. Caribou Coffee is offering the option to add a shot of espresso to your coffee for free or get a free solo shot of espresso today (Monday) only. That might help you wake up. I went to Target today and found a great deal on Super Odor Neutralizer. Remember, prices vary by region. My region is usually higher than most others so you might have an even better deal.

Final Price = $.08 Profit

A couple of notes, I gave the manufacturer coupon first and the Target coupon second. No beeps, worked perfect. Also, the Renuzit coupons was regional and Austin, TX didn’t get it. I got a free $2 coupon from eBay so I used it to buy some Renuzit Triscents coupons so I could do the moneymaker at CVS. Well, whoever I bought them from, sent me the whole row of 3 Renuzit coupons from that insert. Jackpot!
