Alright, I think this one might have to go down in the record books. It is amazing. I think Linda is at an elite couponing level most of us have yet to achieve! The total before coupons was $677.80. Would you believe me if I told you that she only spent $52.72 for everything picture above!? Phenomenol. I think she needs to take me shopping.
It’s a little hard to see in the photo but some of the jaw-droppers pictured are:
- 156 Snickers bars. She paid $0.
- 26 Whiskas Treats. She had a $.26 overage.
- 12 Reach Toothbrushes. She paid $0.
- 14 Listerine Pocket Packs. She paid $0.
- 12 Colgate Total Toothpastes. She paid $0.
- 8 Fusion Razors. She paid $4.
- 8 Ronzoni Pasta. She paid $0.
Don’t be discouraged if your coupon shops don’t look like this. She obviously has access to multiple coupon inserts, some very coupon friendly cashiers and a bit of experience coupon shopping. But for all of you “experienced” couponers out there, here’s a little something to strive for!
This also wasn’t the result of one store. She shopped at Kroger, Randalls and Target. Oh, and did I mention she also got a $4 Catalina at Randalls and a $10 gift card at Target. See, I told you Linda was amazing!
Bravo Linda! Very Impressive.

Where in the world did she get that many snickers coupons and then to use them all at one store? I’m totally baffled.
WOWZERS!!! VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!
Great job! I’d love to see a list of what coupons she used and the store prices. I never see Ronzoni pasta for less than $1.50 and never see coupons for more than $1 for that product, so they’d never be free for me. I’m guessing the Snickers were in multi-packs? My stores would never have 156 single bars.
I LOVE IT!!!!
I have always wanted to show off my biggest trip but don’t know how to post them on here.
A local store challenged me to just how good I am at this one day so I did a food pantry trip around Christmas. My total was $2508.53 and the store PAID me $12.99!!!!
I do trips like this a lot to donate to local charities and the breakfast club at my daughters school.
and yes, it is because many charities give me their inserts and I have a great relationship with the stores that allow me to do this because they know I donate most of it.
Good job Linda!!!!
Wow, Tania! I’ve never had a shelf price more than $800 in any one week. I can’t imagine over $2500! I can totally get behind the $12.99 back though. I love it when that happens!
CJ- The Ronzoni was 1.25, and my coupon was for .75. But Kroger was having a$4 off 8 promo that week, which made it free! And the Snickers were indeed individually wrapped. I could only buy 6 at a time, because the coupon was .50/2 from RP 2/21 and my Kroger only doubles 3 like coupons. So I made alot of trips that week, and my husband also made trips. And I went to 5 different stores that are close to my home. Alot of cashiers let me do 2 or 3 transactions at one time. I lucked out by finding over 800 2/21 inserts in a recycling dumpster, which is how I got ahold of so many coupons. And we did donate them to a local foster care facility which takes care of almost 100 children. So, it was well worth the effort!
Linda, That is awesome!
Tanya, I just can’t even imagine! WOW!
And about Ronzoni, I don’t normally buy it because I can get other brands cheaper. But, one day, I happened to go into Food Lion and they were having a BOGO sale on Ronzoni. My middle child is a pasta ADDICT, so a BOGO on just about any pasta is a great find for me!
