I went to Randalls today and spotted a additions to the Safeway Weekly Ad this week. First, the Skippy Peanut Butter deal, is also valid on the Skippy Natural Peanut Butter. The coupon shows regular Skippy but the Natural is the same price and within the size restrictions so I gave it a try and it’s included.
Skippy Peanut Butter – $1.49 (Limit 4)
-Use $1/1 Skippy coupon (Joy of Football pg 50)
Final Price = $.49
Advertised this week is Tyson Breaded Chicken Selections are buy one get one free at $8.99. I thought this was a decent deal since we are out of nuggets. But when I went today I noticed that the bags of nuggets are only $5.79 and also BOGO! That makes them $2.40 per bag.
Tyson Breaded Chicken Selections – $5.79 (BOGO)
-Use $1/1 Tyson coupon (SS 1/30 or SS 1/23)
Final Price = $4.79 for 2 ($2.40 each)
I posted about how you can get Quaker Oatmeal Squares for $.99/box. Well, Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut is also part of the Buy 4 for $1.99 each Promo. So, if you don’t want 4 boxes of Oatmeal Squares, you could get Crunchy Nut or mix and match the two.
Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut – $1.99 (WYB 4)
-Use (4) $1/1 Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut coupon (RP 1/23)
Final Price = $3.96 for 4 ($.99 each)
Quaker Oatmeal Squares – $1.99 (WYB 4)
-Use (4) $1/1 Quaker Oatmeal Squares coupon (or RP 1/30)
Final Price = $3.96 for 4 ($.99 each)
And finally, there is a good deal for Old El Paso right now. The taco shells are only $.99 and cans of refried beans are $1.25. When you buy 3 Old El Paso products, you’ll get a $1 on your next order Catalina coupon. If you buy 5 products, you’ll get a $3 OYNO Catalina. Unfortunately the Old El Paso coupon is no longer available, but let’s cross our fingers it comes back soon. Regardless, this is still a good deal.
Old El Paso Taco Shells – $.99
-Get $3 OYNO Catalina WYB 5
Final Price = $2 for 5 ($.40 each)
Don’t miss all the other great deals from the Safeway Weekly Ad this week. It’s a huge week and you don’t want to miss out.

There are coupons in the 1-30 SS (I think!) for Old El Paso. There is a $1/1, making taco shells and refried beans free, and $1/2, making them $.50. Either way it’s a money maker with the catalina!
There’s a .60/2 IP coupon available on the Old El Paso website. And there’s a .50/1 IP available on the Que Rica Vida website. So you could run this deal..
Buy 4 Old El Paso Taco Shells @ $0.99 each
Buy 2 Old El Paso Taco Seasonings
- 2) .50/1 IP coupons (1 should double to $1)
- 1) .60/2 IP coupon
- 2) FREE Taco Seasoning WYB 2 Old El Paso items peelie (found on taco shells)
- $3 OYNSO received when you buy 5 or more products
Final Cost: All 6 items FREE + $1.14 moneymaker!
I was just there this afternoon and totally missed out on the nuggets! That’s a great price and my kids love those.
Where is the printable??
Melissa — The .60/2 IP is available on the Old El Paso website (http://www.bettycrocker.com/products/old-el-paso) Just scroll down on the main page, on the right hand side, you’ll see a button that says “Save 60 cents on 2″. click on that and it’ll take you to the coupon.
The .50/1 IP is available on the Que Rica Vida site (http://www.quericavida.com/Ahorros/Default.aspx). You’ll need to register/login at this site in order to print the coupon. The site is in Spanish, so you’ll need to know a little Spanish, or use an online translator like bablefish. It’s not too difficult to figure out how to fill out the form, actually. The coupon prints in both spanish and english — I used it at Kroger today with no problem. Once you’re logged in, just go to the “Ahorros” tab to find the coupon.
Hope that helps!
