UPDATE: Did you buy lots of gift certificates in August and aren’t sure you want all the same restaurants again? Did you know you can buy generic Restaurant.com gift certificates? Then later in the year you can redeem them for your favorite restaurants when Restaurant.com isn’t on sale or when a new restaurant is added. You have one year to redeem these certificates for restaurant-specific ones. Then the new restaurant-specific certificate is valid for one-year. By buying a generic Restaurant.com gift certificate you can extend the expiration to almost 2 years. I bet you’ll go out to eat sometime in the next two years! (Thanks Audrey!)

Im so excited to hear about the generic gift certificates because every time I look to get a Canyon Cafe certificate they are already out of stock! So now I can relax and look for it whenever! yay!!!
