Randalls (Safeway) Deals (3/10 – 3/16)

This week at Randalls there is a big Buy 5, Save 5 Promo on Cereal, Granola Bars and Fruit Snacks. There are lots of free or nearly free items so it’s a great week to stock up on things. Don’t forget to load your Cellfire and Shortcuts coupons before you go.

My store triples coupons up to $.39 and doubles up to $.50. It will only multiply one like coupon and does not accept coupons on free items. This was taken into consideration when doing the matchup.

Most of these deals should be valid at all Safeway affiliates (Carrs, Dominick’s, Genuardi’s, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Safeway, and Vons) but be sure to check your local ad. New to shopping at Safeway? Read the coupon policy HERE.

YEAH…. a cereal sale finally! Not the greatest deals but much better than full price. We used our last box of from the crazy cereal sale from August this week.

  2. melissa says:

I just did a couple transactions at a tomthumb in mckinney (north of dallas)…. there is also a catalina for when you purchase post cereal. Its says between 2/26 and 3/21 when u buy 4, you get $3 and when u buy 5 or more you get $4 on your next purchase!! I had bought 4 fruity pebbles!! Just thought might help to make it a better deal for some if it works at more Randalls stores :)

  3. tori says:

Hi, If you are in the Austin area, the deal gets even better for the cereal. The Randalls out in Lakeway has a blinkie machine with .70 cents off one box of Apple Jacks, Corn Puffs or Fruit Loops. This makes them only .80 cents a box before the catalina. The store over on brodie and william cannon did not have the blinkie machine.
    Good luck.

  4. Brandy says:

I bought 13 boxes of cereal 7 furit snacks and 2 brownie mixes(coupon was expiring) and I only parid $12.28 after coupons!!!!
Then I got a $3.50 catalina for the fruit snacks and $3.00 back on the post!!! After everything is said and done $5.58!!!!!!!

  5. Angelica says:

The fresh express salads that are $.99 each wyb 5 or more is a great deal wyb Marie’s dressing. BUT the store on Slaughter and Brodie had coupons for $2 off wyb 2!! FREE salad!! I got a few extra and delivered them to friends with a free dressing too. What a fun gift from a neighbor! Tons of coupons AND tons of salad in stock.

  6. Rachel G says:

I still had save $2 wyb a gallon of milk blinkie from Safeway here in California so I got the cereal for free plus a catalina for $3 off next purchase. Also had the .70/1 kellogg’s cereal blinkie for the apple jacks, pops and fruit loops. I spent $42 on groceries that would have cost over $200 and saved 79.43% the clerk was flabbergasted. I also got a catalina for the fruit roll ups for $3
The salad coupon would have been nice! I did get the dressing though. Safeway is awesome this week!

I had a great run to Randall’s this weekend! My store had the Lunchable Sub sandwiches marked down to $.50, used $.75/1 coupon. I got 10-12 of them. Only had 3 coupons though, but it was still a good deal. With 4 kids @ home on Spring Break this week, those will go fast. I also had $1/2 fritos or cheetos tearpads. I used those along w/ $3/1 Lays dips wyb 2 Lays chips. I also got lots of free cereal & fruit snacks. My total was $96. After promo discounts & coupons I paid $23 :)

  8. Susan says:

Last week I shopped Randall’s in Cedar Park to do the $5 off 5 items Mix and Match. I bought 10 boxes of cereals and, 3 bagged salads and 2 Marie’s Salad dressings. When I got home I realized they only deducted $5 one time. I went back today (it’s across town and I have two little ones) with the flyer and my receipt. They told me that the cereals all had to be in the same price points, I had bought some that were $1 wyb5, some $1.50 wyb5 , and some $2 wyb5. Since it was a mix and match sale, doesn’t it make since that you could mix and match as long as they were part of the $5 off 5 promotion? Did you experience the same thing and/or is that how you read the add?

To add flame to the fire, I had my boys in the cart at customer service. I had a few things to pick up but decided to get them at HEB since they weren’t on sale at Randall’s. As I was pushing the cart out the door it abruptly stopped. I, however, was still moving forward, causing me to whack my shin on the crossbar on the cart. Apparently if you don’t go through the cashier lanes the wheels on the cart lock when you try to exit. So I, along with the large bruise on my shin, am not very happy with Randall’s right now.
