Its really yummy to use Coconut Oil on your steamed Veggies instead of butter! Tastes really Gourmet!!! yum!
I cook with it. I use it on my skin. Any skin issues (scrapes, cutes, pimples, ant bites, stings, etc) the coconut goes on it. Cured bladder infections, headaches, almost everything you can think of. Went to South Africa and took it every day and did not get bit by mosquitos. So many things. I make my own soft butter with it. Mix it with real butter, olive oil, salt and water…makes a soft butter spread. It’s amazing stuff!
I recently bought some of this to use as a skin moisturizer and even hair conditioner. Love it on my face and my hands. It’s not greasy and really moisturized. Plus, it smells yummy!
Patti – I’m curious about not getting bit by mosquitos. How did you “take it?” Did you eat it or rub it on? I always get eaten by mosquitos.
Thanks for the tip! We use it in our homemade baby formula recipe. I have a friend who uses it to make her own deodorant!
