Nielsen Homescan Consumer Panel is currently accepting new applicants. This is a program that helps manufacturers and retailers determine whaat products to make and sell to consumers. If you are accepted as a panel member you will be sent a small hand-held scanner. When you return from a shopping trip you will scan all the bar codes of everything you purchased. Once a week, you’ll transmit this information to Nielsen. The perk is that you’ll earn points which can be redeemed for a variety of items from the Nielsen Gift Catalog.
I personally have no experience with this group. But, from what I’ve heard it does take a while for your points to add up. However, you can earn some nice prizes like electronics and household items if you stick with it. You could then save these and use as gifts for Christmas or birthdays.
If you are interested in giving it a try, they are accepting applications now. Go HERE to learn more and sign up.
Anyone worked with them before? Please share your experience.

Aw bummer, they are not recruiting in my area. But, thanks for the info, I will keep an eye out now for recruitment near me. This seems like a pretty good deal! Thanks again for your blog. It has been VERY helpful to us. =)
