I just got back from a trip to Randalls and I stumbled upon a sweet overlapping promo. This one is hot for two reasons, one you can get Healthy Choice and/or Marie Callenders frozen dinners for $.99 now through Tuesday and two, you don’t need any manufacturer coupons to do it!
Beginning today, Safeway (and affiliates) began a Buy 5, Save $5 Frozen Food promo. When you buy 5 participating items, you’ll get $5 off instantly at checkout. Both Marie Callenders and Healthy Choice meals are participating in the promo (though not marked at my store!).
Don’t forget that this week, Safeway has a Super Coupon in their ad (valid through Tuesday) that allows you to get up to 6 Healthy Choice or Marie Callenders meals for only $1.99 each. The Super Coupon requires a $10 minimum purchase but this is before coupons! When you buy 5, the in-ad coupon works and the instant $5 comes off for the frozen food promo. Here’s how the deal looks:
Marie Callender’s or Healthy Choice Meals – $2.54
-Get $.51 off each with in-ad coupon (Limit 6)
-Get $5 off instantly WYB 5
Final Price = $4.95 for 5
Simply grab your store circular when you walk in the door and rip out the coupon. I would recommend bringing scissors to make it easier.
I will definitely be headed out to Randalls a few more times before this deal ends. With a baby coming anytime now and a husband that loves Marie Callendars, I won’t be missing the opportunity to restock our freezer!

WOOHOO! Thanks for the deal info. So glad I got this before I made my trip to Randalls.
So I ran to Randalls after reading this just as the rain started coming down in buckets. It was well worth the trip. I got 10 Sobe drinks, 2 Joint Juice, 1 Fresh Pineapple, 5 Marie Callender Pot Pies, 2 Progresso Soup and 1 Yoplait Delights for $5.51. Think I will run back tomorrow for one more round.

I just went to the Randalls on mopac and William cannon and the healthy choice meals are not part of the buy 5 get 5 off deal. I rang up five of them and the 5 didn’t come off and I asked the manager and he said the healthy choice are not participating.
Just wanted to give you a heads up. Thanks for all the great info you post everyday.
