One of the GroupOn side deals for Seattle is $50 worth of customizable gifts from Zazzle.com for only $25. This is a great deal because you can order photo stamps for almost the same price as regular stamps. This would be a great addition to your Christmas cards or other invites.
Here’s how to get it:
- Register or Login to GroupOn
- At the very top click “Visit More Cities.
- Choose Seattle
- You’ll see the Zazzle Offer as one of the Side Deals
- Click “Buy”
The GroupOn says limit one per transaction which leads me to believe you can buy multiple and just do multiple transactions. It expires 2/1.
Here’s how to get the stamps:
- Visit Zazzle’s site
- Click “Create Postage”
- Upload your photo
- Choose your denomination and size – I picked the small, $.44 stamps
- Add 2 to your cart
- Click “Edit Cart”
- Change the Quantity to 3
- In the coupon section type in your GroupOn code
- Also add SEPTFREESHIP in the coupon box to score free shipping
- Click “Proceed to Checkout”
Your total for the 60 stamps should be $2.35 and will ship for free! That makes it $27.35 for 60 stamps fate you factor in the cost of the GroupOn. This is a great price!
Just remember, the post office is raising the price of stamps on Jan. 2, 2011 so if you order stamps prior to Jan 2, just make sure you can use them all before the rate change!
Like the stamp pictured above? That’s my little guy!

Your little guy is so adorable, Shellie!!
And the Aggie ring just makes the picture perfect.
ADORABLE little fellow! Nothing like a little baby in my opinion.
One thing I’m curious about. Why do you consider this a good price? If I figured correctly it comes to $0.45 a stamp which is more than regular postage. Now if you go through Ebates or Shopathome then you’d be getting money back which would make it cheaper. Am I missing something?
Lydia – i think what Shellie is trying to say is that you’re getting customized stamps *nearly* for the price of regular ones, which is pretty awesome. I’m ordering in advance for our Christmas/Channukah cards – combined with my vistaprint return address labels, it’s getting better and better!
Lydia – Kel is right. Photo Stamps are usually priced at a premium. This deal makes them almost the same price as regular stamps. You’re paying an extra dollar for 60 stamps over the cost of regular ones. However, since these are personalized and add a special touch to your cards, I thought that people might be interested. Especially with the Holidays around the corner. Sorry if I confused you!
No, you are perfectly fine. I am just too cheap to spend extra on “fancy” stamps I guess.
But, I admit, they are pretty cute!
I thought maybe I was miscalculating something that was all.
Thank you for this post:) I am sending out my Save-the-Dates and this will surely add a special touch!
I’ve tried adding a free shipping code to mine, and it says it applied, but it doesn’t reflect that in the total. Did you do anything special? Thanks!
You may have to contact Zazzle about that. It could be that the code is no longer valid.
