Yes, I know I already posted a giveaway this morning and no I didn’t goof! With it being so close to Valentine’s Day I thought I’d double the love today and offer two giveaways. This one may not be quite so fun since it is for taxes but I guarantee you will be glad you have it!
Starting today (2/12) through Sunday, February 14, you can register to use any H&R Block at Home online product for only $14. This is a discount of 50-70%. It’s quite a steal really. If I didn’t have to have a CPA prepare my taxes this year I would jump on this opportunity!
If you register Feb. 12-14, you will receive the full menu of advanced features that H&R Block At Home Basic, Deluxe and Premium offer, such as:
- Audit support from a live tax professional
- Import last year’s tax data from TurboTax or TaxCut
- Automatic import of data from your employer and financial provider
- Tailored guidance for your personal situation or occupation
- Easy-to-use tax calculator
Plus, one of the best perks about this promo is you only need to register to lock in the $14 price. You don’t even have to pay until you complete your taxes! So you can register now, you can wait and do your taxes April 14. Or if you aren’t certain you can do it on your own, you can register and check it out. If you end up not using it, you don’t have to pay. It’s really a win/win. Learn more and register HERE.
H&R Block has generously offered to give one of my readers one copy of their Deluxe Software! This giveaway is for the H&R Block software that you will load onto your computer and use. It is very similar to the online products but is the actual physical software.
Ready to win? As usual, there are 3 methods of entry:
1. Leave a comment telling me what you typically do with your tax refund. I guess my husband and I could be considered boring. We just go out for sushi and put the rest in savings.
2. Subscribe to Saving with Shellie via RSS feeds, email or Facebook. If you already subscribe, leave a second separate entry saying you do so.
3. Follow me on Twitter and feel free to Tweet about the giveaway. Be sure you leave a separate entry with your Twitter address.
This giveaway will end Tuesday 2/16 at 11:59pm. I’ll announce the winner on Wednesday 2/17.
Disclosure: This post was sponsored by H&R Block. Products were provided for giveaway purposes. This post was not reviewed or edited by H&R Block and the thoughts and opinions are completely mine. Others may have a different experience.

Shellie loves to share her frugal living tips as well as deals and bargains to help you get more with less. A spender at heart, she balances her frugal lifestyle with the occassional splurge.
We probably also considered “boring” as we put our tax return into savings. That seems to be the safest place for it! You never know when you will need it!
Well, we usually put our tax return in savings if we get one! Personally, I prefer to have the money throughout the year instead of banking on a huge refund! JMO!
This year we are going to owe….so no tax refund for me!
We typically put our refund in savings unless there is something that we have been saving for that we could use that money for instead.
We always put our tax return in savings !
