I recently had the opportunity to try the new Kellogg’s FiberPlus bars. in Dark Chocolate Almond, Chocolate Chip and Chocolatey Peanut Butter. All I can say is yum!
When I hear fiber, I’ll be honest, I think cardboard. But these bars had all kinds of chocolatey goodness, were moist and tasted delish. Definitely not cardboard. In addition to being yummy, they contain 35% of your daily fiber for the day. This is great because fiber is very important for heart health and helps you feel full longer.
The Kellogg’s FiberPlus bars. also contain antioxidants like Vitamin E and Zinc and 10% of your daily calcium intake. That little bar packs a powerful punch.
They do contain 4-5 grams of fat per bar but even with the fat content these bars can be a tasty way to add fiber to your diet. Just be sure to eat them in moderation. And remember, it’s always a good idea to increase your fiber intake gradually so tummy troubles don’t result.
Would you like to try some FiberPlus bars? The folks at FiberPlus have been generous enough to provide 10 Saving with Shellie readers a FiberPlus Lunch Pack which includes a reusable FiberPlus lunch bag, three varieties of FiberPlus bars and a coupon good for a free box of Kellogg’s FiberPlus bars.
Ready to win? There are 3 methods of entry:
