The Safeway family of stores (which includes Dominick’s, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Vons, and Genuardi’s) is running a “2 Ways 2 Earn” promo right now. Earn cash for your schools with Box Tops for Education and the “10% Goes Back to Schools” program.
When you shop, look for the “10% Goes Back to Schools” yellow school bus tags on over 2,000 of your favorite items throughout Safeway stores now through 9/14. Then check your receipt and the total spent (before coupons!) will be updated each time you shop.
Beginning on 9/18, a redemption code will be printed at the bottom of your receipt. Then, simply visit backtoschools.escrip.com before 10/13, choose your favorite participating local school and enter your redemption code to make your donation.
To celebrate this new promotion, Safeway, General Mills and My Blog Spark are giving one lucky reader a $25 gift card to Safeway and a Bonus Box Tops certificate with a value of 50 Bonus Box Tops.
Ready to win? There are 3 methods of entry:
1. Leave a comment telling me what your favorite part about Back to School is. Do you like having a quiet house? Shopping for school supplies? Volunteering at your kids’ school?
2. Subscribe to Saving with Shellie via RSS feeds or email. If you already subscribe, leave a second separate entry saying you do so.
3. Follow me on Facebook and feel free to tell your friends about the giveaway. Be sure you leave a separate entry letting me know you’re a fan.
This giveaway will end Tuesday 9/7 at 11:59pm CT and I’ll announce the winner on Wednesday 9/8.
Plus, don’t forget to check out the Safeway matchups this week and the coupon savings available from the Box Tops for Education website.

As crazy as it sounds I think my fav part of going back to school is getting me fees paid so I know I don’t have to worry for another 4 months (work in 15wk trimesters) We are on a VERY tight budget so it is always a relief when they are paid and we can see how God has provided just enough to keep me in school another trimester!
I get your daily e-mails
