You may remember earlier in the summer we took Baby J to Cool Cuts 4 Kids for his first ever haircut. It was so cute. I stuck his certificate and hair lock in the baby book the other day and thought it would be fun to do another Cool Cuts giveaway. You’re Back to School Haircuts may start to get shaggy in a few weeks and you’ll need a good cut for the holidays so I thought this was perfect timing!

There were lots of things I loved about our Cool Cuts experience. The first was that they took appointments so we got called back almost immediately. They do take walk-ins but I recommend an appointment. Long waits with toddlers are never fun. I think this also helped him have a good experience in the barber chair because he was happy and not cranky.

Before the Cut

Another plus was how kid-friendly the stylist and atmosphere were. Our stylist showed Baby J all her tools before using them and while she was using them. And when he decided to be squirmy, she handled that really well too. The entertainment features were also great. Kids get to sit in fun chairs, watch movies and have a fun time while their hair is getting clipped.
