FREE Cutter Advanced Insect Repellent

cutter

Walgreens has the 1oz bottles of Cutter Advanced Insect Repellent priced at $2 each. Pair it with the $2 coupon from today’s paper and that equals free bug spray.

FYI, the coupon did make the register beep when I bought it this morning. I’m not sure why. The cashier just keyed the coupon in becase the coupons says “off any Cutter”. Also, the bottle is quite small and seems to have a fairly secure flip cap. This would probably be great for your purse.

Here’s how the deal looks:

Cutter Advanced Insect Repellent – 2/$4
-Use $2/1 Cutter coupon (SS 5/31)
Final Price = FREE

I was told I could not use this coupon because it said flea and tick products excluded and the 2/4 say flea and tick in the description. The coupon beeped and the cashier refused. I picked another brand it beeped to but he chose to override that one. It was very frustrating. any thoughts?

If you only buy one of these it rings for $2.19 (regular price). Once the 2nd one is scanned it rings for $1.81, making them 2 for $4. When my cashier scanned the coupon is beeped as well, she examined the Q and forced the 1st Q through. Then she told me that I couldn’t use the 2nd one since the item was not $2. I just stood there and looked at her, after a few seconds she went ahead and forced it through.

    GOOD LUCK with this deal!

I also was not able to use the coupons for this because it rang up at $1.99 each and the coupons were for $2.00. The cashier did not want to reduce the value of the coupon. I tried this at 2 WAGS and I was told the same in both stores. I have had this issue before in these stores, that they will not reduce the value of the q because they say it is considered fraud.

My cutter rang up for $2.19 and my coupon beeped and I couldn’t use it. The checker was unwilling to do anything about it. Sigh… And I was also unsuccessful with using the Ecotrin coupon. Same reason.

I did have a great trip, however, to the new store on Burnet. I transferred a new prescription and got a gift card for $25. I used ther $3 off $10 purchase coupons. I picked up photos that were 5.00 for 50 from internet special. (I still have a coupon good for 20 free photos at the Burnet location.) I bought $40 worth of groceries and dry goods for $16 cost, $10 from RR bucks and $6 from cash. And I got 3 new RR bucks to use next time. Good time!
