UPDATE: Looks like the Buy One Get One Free may be a glitch in their computer. Some people are reporting that they are getting BOGO50% and others are still reporting BOGOFree.

Almay cosmetics are ringing up buy one get one free instead of buy one get one 50% off as advertised. This makes for two great deals this week:

Almay One Coat Mascara – $6.99 (BOGO)
-Use $4/1 Almay Walgreens coupon (Nov Coupon Book)
Final Price = 2 for FREE
Note: You don’t need 2 Walgreens coupons. The computer will auto deduct $8 when you buy 2.

Almay Pure Blends Foundations - $9.99 (BOGO)
Almay Pure Blends Shadow, Lip Gloss, or Mascara - $6.99 (BOGO)
-Get $10 RR WYB Pure Blends Foundation
-Get $5 RR WYB Pure Blends Shadow, Gloss or Mascara
Final Price = FREE (+ $5 possible overage)
Note: I don’t think the $4/1 coupon will work on this transaction becuase it isn’t for the Pure Blends Masacara.

Maria November 2, 2009 at 9:37 AM: Shellie: At least at Round Rock area, prices on mascara & lip gloss are $7.99, foundation it’s $9.99. But I did this deal on 2 different stores and the Walgreens coupon only took $4 off on the one coat mascara, not $8. Still a good deal because I use the $5 from the lip gloss, to pay for the mascara the second time that I did it.
Holly November 2, 2009 at 11:22 AM: You have to have a filler that costs more than $1.01 to make the 1 coat mascara work as a MM.

And, if you use 3 $2 off 1 Lubriderm coupons (RP 10/11) plus the coupon from the Diabetes & You booklet get an $8 RR. Another MM.

I did the Lubriderm and Almay together this morning. Spent $15.11 OOP & got $25 in RR back. (It would’ve been 12 had I seen the Diabetes & You booklet)

Jen November 2, 2009 at 8:24 PM: The $4 coupon is for the wrong Almay product, so it didn’t work at my store. However, there a few Almay items on clearance that still worked for the deal, so it was still a good outcome anyway!
April November 2, 2009 at 8:24 PM: I just saw the Almay cosmetics marked BOGO 50% off today when I went there. That’s also how it’s stated in the ad…not BOGO Free.
