The Pantene Deal at CVS is even better than I thought. The coupon automatically deducts $6.99 even though the shampoo is only $4. Here is my conversation last night with the CVS clerk.
Me: Um, that shampoo is only $4 and the coupon took off $6.99
Clerk: I know. The computer automatically does that and there’s nothing I can do.
Me: You can’t manually enter it in for the correct amount
Clerk: Maybe. But I’d have to void your whole transaction and start over. It may or may not work and we get reimbursed for $6.99 regardless so I’m just not going to worry about it, okay?
So, there you have it. The coupon takes off $6.99. And that makes the Pantene just $.01 for two. Oh, and the limit is more than one. I only did it once because I thought the limit was one but my receipt shows I haven’t hit the max. So it’s at least two.
(2) Pantene Shampoo – 2/$8
-Use BOGO Pantene coupon (SS 9/16) (deducts $6.99)
-Get $1 ECBs WYB 2 (Limit 2)
Final Price = $.01 for 2
Don’t forget that Pantene qualifies for the $15 P&G Rebate offer. This will give you a good start toward the $50 purchase requirement!
UPDATE: I tried a different store this afternoon and the cashier manually entered the coupon for $4. So you may or may not be able to get it for just $.01. Also, I have no idea what the limit is. I’ve done it twice and my receipt still says I can do it again.
Check out the rest of this week’s CVS Deals and don’t miss out on any of the other goodies.
