This maybe a silly question, for the Dawn soap, what is Home Made Simple and how would I get the coupon? Thanks so much!!
Home Made Simple is a coupon book that you receive by mail from Proctor & Gamble. Anytime there is a new link available I post it on the site. Keep an eye out for it and you’ll be ready next time. The free Dawn soap is a fairly common deal so it should happen again before too long.
My local stores, CVS included, will not allow me to use 3 coupons if I only purchase 2 items. For instance, the Stayfree pads. You have it as $3.89 ea – buying 2, and using the BOGO coupon is $3.89/2, then they will only allow me to use ONE of the $1/1 coupons (on the 2nd item – the first item had the BOGO associated with it). So, I get 2 items for $.89 – which isn’t bad, but most of the blog sites say you can use 2 of the $1/1 coupons, and I’ve yet to have a store near me allow that.
On the Stayfree pads, I don’t think Shellie suggested breaking the rules. Here’s how I expect things to play out:
Buy 2 products, 3.89 each
Use one coupon on one product to save $1
Use one coupon on the other product to save full price (3.89)
Pay 2.89 out of pocket.
Receive $4 ECB (2 for each product).
So the value you got was $.1.11 in overage.
And you can actually do this deal twice should you want to, because it’s a limit 4 on ECBs.
I agree with you, that’s the way I want it to do it. Thanks!!
