I had fund yesterday at CVS. My store was unusually prepared. I had two flu shot coupons expiring. I also finally found the $100 coupon book at my local. Here were my purchases. I did two transactions since they already had the next week deals up and posted.
Last week deals:
$21 Halloween Candy
$2.89 Neo Lip Care
$4 for 2 cute insect repellent bracelets
Total of $27.89 before tax and coupons
I used the following coupons:
$2.89/1 (down from $3) for Lip Care
$2.50 B3G1 Reese Candy
$5/25 CVS Flu
Total after coupons 17.50.
I paid using $5 in ECB plus $12.48 from a transferred prescription gift card. BTW… I verified that my CVS takes RiteAid and Target coupons for gift cards with new or transferred prescriptions! Wow! I got $5 in new ECB for the candy deal. The ECB didn’t print, but the manager was more than happy to fix it. I only noticed after transaction #2.
Note to self: Always stop before check-out and put coupons in order and count how many coupons you expect back!
My second transaction was for next week deals:
$7 Glade Reed Diffuers
$22 for 5 Advil PMs
Total before coupons is $29
I used coupons:
5 $2/1 Advil
$3/1 Glade
$5/25 CVS Flu
So the total after coupons is $11 which I paid for from the transferred prescription gift card. I got $17 in new ECB from the Glade and Advil deals.
So that’s $56.89 with no out of pocket expense and I have $22 in ECB for next week.
I went on http://www.Centrum.com web site and registered .
Offter that I was able to print $5 off /2 coupon.
I both 2 centrum for $10 each
Used $5/2 coupon
Got back $10 ECB
The two 100 count Centrum was $2.50 each
Hope this info will help someone.
Thanks for the write up Shellie. This was my transaction for today:
Glade diffuser $6.99
2 Total cereals @ $3 each = $6
newspaper $2
Used
$3 / $15 purchase
$3.50 Glade
2 – 75 cents Total smartsource.com
$5 ECB from previous week’s Nestle deal
Paid $2.04 and received $6.99 ECB (Glade), $2 ECB (Total) and $3/$15 coupon
—————–
I plan to come back to CVS later in the week when the weather is a bit nicer. Plan of attack:
4 – 12 packs Coke $13 + $2.40 deposit
2 Colgate Total toothpaste B1G1 @ $2.79
Use
$3/$15 purchase coupon
2 – $1 Coke products found on package (if available)
2 – $1 Colgate coupon
6.99 ECB + 2 ECB from previous transaction
Pay about $2.20 – $4.20 depending on the availability of the Coke coupon. Get back $3 ECB
