You can earn points by purchasing groceries ($1 = 1 point) and having prescriptions filled too (1 prescription = 50 points)

Every 100 points gets you $.10 off per gallon for a single fill-up at a Safeway gas station. You can use your points in increments of 100 and use up to 1000 points for a single fill-up. And 1000 points adds up to $1 off per gallon! That means big savings at the pump.

However, now through October 29 you can earn 4x Gas Reward Points when you purchase qualifying gift cards. For every $1 you spend, you’ll earn four points. You can buy gift cards and use them to quickly earn Gas Reward Points. That means $125 in gift card purchases earns you $.50 off at the pump!

Do you have a home improvement project planned? Buy some Lowe’s gift cards on your next Randalls or Tom Thumb visit. If you buy a $100 Lowe’s gift card, that means 400 points or $.40 off per gallon. Then just use the Lowe’s gift card instead of cash when you buy your project supplies.

Do you use iTunes as a reward for your teens? Buy a few iTunes gift cards on your next Randalls or Tom Thumb visit. A 3-pack of $10 cards ($30) will get you 120 points. That’s $.10 off per gallon.

The possibilities are endless. For regular purchases you make, check to see if Randalls/Tom Thumb offers a gift card to that store. You’ll get gas rewards and still be able to shop at your favorite locations at the same time.

You may remember earlier in the summer we took Baby J to Cool Cuts 4 Kids for his first ever haircut. It was so cute. I stuck his certificate and hair lock in the baby book the other day and thought it would be fun to do another Cool Cuts giveaway. Another plus was how kid-friendly the stylist and atmosphere were. Our stylist showed Baby J all her tools before using them and while she was using them. And when he decided to be squirmy, she handled that really well too. The entertainment features were also great. Kids get to sit in fun chairs, watch movies and have a fun time while their hair is getting clipped.

I know there’s quite a buzz about the new Huggies Slip-On Diapers. I’m so excited to be available to offer this giveaway.

These new diapers offer a slip-on design and stretchy sides for easier changing and a snug fit on the first try. These make changing a squirmy baby much quicker. Or if you don’t have a squirmer, they would be a good transition between regular diapers and Pull-Ups.

One of my favorite features are the easy-open sides. It makes for getting a dirty diaper off a squirmy kid much easier. The release tabs on each side also make it much less messy that sliding a dirty diaper down the legs.

I was a little concerned about the absorbency but they seem to absorb just as well as Little Movers, even with the stretchy sides. I’ve got a guy with chubby legs who loves to climb, wriggle and roll and they kept everything contained. I also like that (unlike the swim diapers), they don’t come up too high. They stop just under his belly button so while some of the diaper sticks out above his pants, it’s not much.

Since this is a new product, you can anticipate some great sales and promos this month to celebrate their launch. It would be a great time to stock up.
