Shoppers of the Week: Emily D. & Bethany G.

This week’s first Shopper of the Week is Emily and she shopped at Randalls. She got everything you see pictured for only $19.71! She did this in two different transactions but her savings was more than 85%.

One great thing about using coupons is that you get to buy name brand products for less than store brand. I bet if Emily had bought store brand products instead of all the name brand items pictured, her total would have been much more than $19.71.

Way to go Emily!

The second Shopper of the Week is Bethany. She shopped at four different stores, including Aldi which doesn’t accept coupons. The regular price of everything pictured was $124.94. She only paid $37.98!

In addition to paying next to nothing for all those groceries, she also walked away with several Catalina coupons that totaled $5 off her next order. That is some super savvy shopping!

Shoppers of the Week: Candace V. & Cheryl

This week’s first Shopper of the Week, Candace proves that it’s a great idea to keep your coupons with you. She ran into Randalls one day just to grab a frozen pizza. But when she got there she found other deals that she couldn’t pass up.

Candace was able to get everything pictured for less than the regular price of the pizza. Thanks to overage from her eCoupons and some free coupons, she was able to get everything for only $4.97. That’s a savings of 82%. Not bad at all for just running in the store to grab a single item.

Bravo Candace!

This week’s second shopper proves it’s always a good idea to check the clearance section at your store. Cheryl found two-packs of Dove deodorant clearanced to $3.50. Using her coupons she was about to get two of the two-packs for only $1. That’s only $.25 per deodorant.

My stockup price point for deodorant is $.50 or less so I’d say she definitely scored!

Shoppers of the Week: Jennifer W. & Rachel B.

One of the highlights to this week’s first Shopper of the Week score isn’t even the price she paid. It’s the time it took! Many people think that shopping with coupons is so time consuming and they don’t think the savings is worth the extra time. Jennifer proves that yes, it IS worth the time!

She shopped at CVS and was in and out of the store in under 10 minutes. It only took 10 minutes for her to run in, grab the items she needed and check out. She even did two separate transactions. That’s not time consuming at all.

Plus, she scored big time. All the items above only cost her $16 out of pocket. You might think that is a little high for CVS but she saved more than 80%. Plus I’m sure she got Extra Care Bucks to spend on her next visit.

Way to go Jennifer!

Our second shopper this week is Rachel. She shopped a cereal promo at Randalls and saved big. Guess how much she paid out of pocket? Would you believe me if I told you it was only $1.06! Her receipt said she saved 96%. And to think, most people pay $3 for one box of cereal. Rachel got 7 boxes plus several other items for 1/3 the price of a single box!

Bravo Rachel!

Shoppers of the Week: Carmine T. and Sharon T.

The Shopper of the Week feature has been so popular that I get tons of emails from readers wanting to be featured. There are no criteria to be the Shopper of Week and I will feature anyone who sends in their photo. If you feel you got a great deal, then you deserve to be applauded! I’ve been featuring them each Saturday on a first submitted, first published basis. However, I have had so many submissions that I’m scheduling them months and months out. To avoid featuring your photos 6 months after you shop, I am going to start doubling up. Each Saturday I will now feature two shoppers.

The first shopper this week is Carmine. She got a great deal on toiletries and other items. She hit her local Pricechopper and CVS stores. Regularly priced these items would have cost almost $100. How much did she pay? $14! Plus she got $9.50 in ECBs to spend on a future trip.

Great job Carmine!

Our second shopper is Sharon. She also shopped at CVS. Her total was $119.26 but after all the coupons and Extra Bucks she only paid $22.56 out of pocket and she even received an additional $41 in Extra Bucks! That is quite a savings!

Shopper of the Week: Linda M.

Well, readers, she’s at it again. You may remember Linda, our Shopper of the Week dynamo. I featured her phenomenal shop back in May. Apparently that wasn’t a one-time fluke. This lady can really save!

She got all 89 items pictured above for $8.22. The original shelf price was $157.58. That’s a savings of 95% and works out to about $.09 per item. I know you’re all wondering where in the world does she shop!? This was actually two stores. One was Randalls and the other one was Kroger. It helps a lot that both those stores double and triple coupons.

You’re probably wondering how you can get all this for so little too. I think experience plays a big part but so do the number of coupons you have. In order to get enough coupons to buy larger quantities of free items, you’ll have to get multiple coupon inserts and have access to multiple computers to print them. You can also buy coupons from coupon clipping services, eBay or trade them.

Hopefully Linda’s amazing experience will inspire some of you who are only saving 70-80% on each shopping trip. I mean, if Linda can save 95%, why can’t you!
