I tried to get one of their other promotions – the picture coasters. I put in my order, only paying for shipping, and supposedly my order went through just fine.
Well, a week later, I received an email saying that my order wouldn’t be honored due to some problem – which they didn’t elaborate on. They didn’t offer to refund my money or anything. Instead offered a “consolation” prize which was considerably less than what I had already paid. I called customer service, and then got my money refunded to me after complaining. I would be very careful in dealing with this company.
Kathy, That was Snapfish NOT Shutterfly. I think Shutterfly is still safe to use.
I have always had good experiences with Shutterfly and have worked with them for numerous projects and prints. Don’t you worry! I will not be posting Snapfish deals again without a big disclaimer about all the past issues. I’m still upset that y’all experienced so many problems.
