Over the Holidays the folks at Jimmy Dean sent me some free product coupons so we could try out some of their products. My husband was so excited when he logged onto the Jimmy Dean website and saw the huge list of products they offer. I think he only thought they had bacon and sausage.
So he had me get him some of the Jimmy Dean Skillets so he could make breakfast tacos a little easier. He also wanted to try the Flapsticks which is sausage on a stick wrapped in a pancake. Sorta like a breakfast corn dog. Well, Stan thinks just about any kind of meat on stick is good so those were specifically requested. I also got the regular sausage as well as some links and patties for us to enjoy over the Holidays.
I personally didn’t try the skillets or the flapsticks but Stan of course loved them. But then again, he’ll eat anything. I usually buy Jimmy Dean sausage to make sausage balls and am always pleased with their product.
I’m sure many of you have see the Bisquick Sausage Ball recipe but I thought I’d share it just because they are so yummy!
Easy Bisquick Sausage Balls
3 Cups Bisquick
2 Cups Cheddar Cheese
1 lb of Regular Sausage
Combine all the ingredients. I’ve found that it’s easiest to use your Kitchen Aid mixer because kneading everything together is harder than you think! Then roll into balls about golf ball size and bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until brown. Best served warm.
You can also freeze them cooked or uncooked. However, if you’re freezing them cooked, I wouldn’t cook them quite all the way. Partially cook them. Then thaw and when you reheat they’ll turn out perfect.
Now on to the giveaway! The folks at Jimmy Dean generously provided me with a bunch of free product coupons to give to you. So, today’s giveaway will have five winners. Each winner will get (4) free product coupons from Jimmy Dean.
