I am new to couponing and I was wondering what it meant by “overage” and a “money maker” does the store actually give you that 1 or 2 dollars, apply/deduct from your total, or do we as the customer simply know that we just made money on a transaction without actually getting any money back??
Hey, Shellie, I’m pretty sure there’s a Nivea coupon from RP 10/11 for $1 off the shave gel.
Sarah,
I’ll use the Dove Visibly Smooth as an example. It’s $3.99. You give them the $2 coupon. You only pay $1.99 for the deodorant. Then a coupon prints out for you to get $3.99 off you next order. So, you only paid $2 but they gave you a coupon that you can use like cash next time you should for $4. That’s like making $2 because you can use it to buy something else you need like Milk.
Thanks Shellie. That’s what I thought, but just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.
Thanks so much for your posts, Shellie! Does WGs accept catalina q’s printed from grocery stores? The reason I ask is because my regular store takes them, but shopping out of town today they wouldn’t take them. The manager said that they wouldn’t get reimbursed despite it being a man q. Any insight?
