I haven’t had a giveaway in a while. I think it’s high time!
The folks over at My Blog Spark recently sent me 2 boxes of Chex Mix Turtle Bars along with a spa indulgence basket. To use my mom’s phrase, these bars are “ooey, gooey, yum!” Since we live in Texas by the time I got home from work the box had been sitting on my porch in the 100 degree heat. The bars were slightly warm and all the more gooey. The turtle variety have caramel covered corn chex pieces, peanuts and pretzels, wheat chex pieces and chocolate pieces. Plus there’s more chocolate drizzled on top. Oh, they were decadent! In fact, I enjoyed the ones that had been sitting on the porch more than the room temp ones in the pantry. Call me weird I guess.
At first glance these might not appear all that healthy. But, really they aren’t that bad. Each bar is 130 calories, has 2 grams of protein, and 4 grams of fiber. Maybe not great for breakfast but they would make a great afternoon treat for the kiddos and are most definitely healthier than a candy bar. And in my opinion much, much better!

My favorite little indulgence is blue bell ice cream homemade vanilla with a little bit of Hershey’s chocolate syrup. Delicious! I would love to win this chocolate delight!

My true favorite little indulgences are chocolates from a little Chocolatier in Indiana called Debrands, but we don’t go often and its expensive to have them shipped, but they are amazing! Especially the Dark chocolate with raspberry filling :)

I love a good bowl of homemade popcorn from a pot with just salt. It’s the best at night after the kids have gone to sleep and i’m winding down with a good book!
