Fun Friday Giveaway!

I have a really fun giveaway for you today. Betty Crocker sent me this great gift basket last week. I got it in time for Easter. Stan was making a cake for his mom’s birthday so he got to use several of the items in the basket. I don’t know whether he enjoyed using the wisk or the bowl scarper more. It was such a nice treat to get to use some new things on baking day.

The reason for the promo is because Betty Crocker is launching a new program called The Mixer (it’s free!). You will be learning the ins and outs of cooking and baking, while interacting with Betty Crocker Kitchens experts LIVE during a class and connecting with an entire community of people just like you. What’s great is that you can do it in the comfort of your own kitchen whenever it best fits your schedule.

P.S. In addition to the cooking utensils, inside the basket was a Cake Recipe Booklet that has some really delicious looking recipes. I think the two I’m most interested in making are the Gooey Carmel-Chocolate Bars and Fudge Ice Cream Dessert. They look delish! But even if you don’t win, you might be able to pick up this recipe booklet at your local grocery or discount store. The cover says display until April 7 but if your store is a litle slow, they might still have it out.
